Crossing Over to the Afterlife

One of the biggest questions many want to know what happens when we die. Many wonder if they will reunite with the ones they have loved and lost. Life continues after we die and so does the love we share with others. In the transition from physical death, our soul leaves our bodies and continues into the spirit world. Our journey does not end. It is a continued evolution of our soul and another step in our spiritual voyage. There is more to this world than what we see with the naked eye. In fact, our earthly world constantly collides with the spiritual world. However, if we are not willing to look past the physical and bridge the gap into the ethereal than we miss what is across the veil. What is death? It is merely a transition to another stage of our everlasting existence. A doorway that separates us from the unseen world.

What Happens When We Transition?

When we transition from this life into the next, our spirit body goes with us as does our mind and personality. The only thing that we leave behind is our physical self. Our brain, muscles, skin, and organs deteriorate as we age; however, our spirit always remains the same on both the material and spiritual planes. Death is a change in consciousness and in the awareness of our environment. Our minds start to perceive vibrations that our physical eyes were blind too and can see past the veil into the unseen. For many the unknown of death is fearful. Always questioning what happens right before or immediately after dying. When spirit no longer stays within the body, whether from naturally aging or a tragic incident, there is an overwhelming feeling of love. The person does not experience pain. Even if there was pain leading up to death, once the transition is happening, there is always peace.

Are We Alone When We Cross Over?

Oftentimes, those who are dying speak of seeing loved ones that have already passed visiting them or of beautiful angels coming to prepare them for their departure into Heaven. Losing a loved one is tragic for the ones left behind, but it is not for the ones who leave. A guardian angel or angels that have been watching over them their entire life, as well as someone they know meets them right before they transition from the physical world into the spiritual world. There is a blissful loving energy that engulfs the person as they cross over. Those on the other side live in a realm where time does not exist. They watch over us with love, joy, and compassion knowing they will see us in a blink of eye. To us on earth, it is difficult because it seems like an eternity until we see them again.

Are They Gone Forever?

Just because we cannot see them when they enter into the afterlife does not mean they no longer hear or see us. Our loved ones are always present when we want them to be. They are present at weddings, graduations, and the delivery of their grandchildren. They see us cry when we are happy or sad because we think they are missing all the special occasions. Talk to them, kiss their photos, and think of them often because they are always nearby.

Who Can Help You Communicate with Them?

Mediums have been able to help people connect with the spirit world for centuries. Mediumship is a form of communication between physical human beings and discarnate spirits. They tune into their higher vibrations and can receive and transmit messages for the physical world who cannot perceive the spirit world’s frequency. When spiritualism was in its infancy mediums were not able to share spirits messages. This is not the case today. Mediumship is becoming more widely accepted. Professions such as Law Enforcement use forensic mediums to assist with cold cases, homicides, missing persons, fraud, and more. This special gift allows mediums to help with the healing process between loved ones and the spiritual world.
