“People don’t always realize the level of stress and trauma involved in this work. I began noticing it was affecting my decision-making, my safety, and my relationships. Through Brainspotting, I was able to process things I couldn’t talk about. The nightmares and constant hypervigilance eased significantly. What stood out most was understanding why I was reacting the way I was and being able to recognize early when things were becoming too much. Now, I use this for maintenance to prevent me from going back to the old ways of handling things.”
