Responder Reset Recovery & Regulation

Support for first responders, their families, and high-exposure professionals.

How I Work

I provide Brainspotting and nervous system-focused support for those navigating the cumulative stress and demands of high-exposure careers. My work focuses on helping the brain and body process critical incidents, chronic stress, and nervous system overload so you can feel calmer, think clearer, and function better at home and on the job.

As a former probation officer with systems-level crisis experience, I understand cumulative stress, operational culture, and the impact these environments can have on individuals and families.

What is Brainspotting?

Brainspotting helps your brain process stress and trauma that got stuck during high-impact experiences by using eye position to access the part of the nervous system that holds it. It works below conscious thinking, so you don’t have to relive or explain everything for it to be effective.

How this helps

  • Settle out of constant alert
  • Improve sleep and focus
  • Reduce irritability and burnout
  • Feel more grounded and steady day to day

This is not talk therapy and does not require retelling events.

Who I work with

  • Firefighters
  • Law enforcement
  • Dispatchers
  • EMTs and paramedics
  • Corrections
  • Emergency department and trauma hospital staff
  • Other emergency response & high-exposure professionals
  • Spouses, partners, and children (ages 5+) of first responders
  • Second responders

What sessions are like

Sessions are private, structured, and paced to your system. You don’t need to explain your job, tone things down, or share details you don’t want to.

You control what you share. There is no requirement to tell your full story or go into graphic detail.

Your information is kept confidential. I do not share personal information with employers, organizations, or referral sources.

This work focuses on how your nervous system is holding stress now, not rehashing what happened.

You can work with me through ongoing Brainspotting sessions or deep intensive sessions, depending on what your system needs. Some first responders prefer ongoing sessions for steady processing and support, while others choose a 3-hour intensive to move through a larger amount at once.

Pricing

60-Minute Session— $180

Sessions are private pay and invoiced after booking.

Sliding scale options are available for first responders and their families when needed (Request Sliding Scale).

“People don’t always realize the level of stress and trauma involved in this work. I began noticing it was affecting my decision-making, my safety, and my relationships. Through Brainspotting, I was able to process things I couldn’t talk about. The nightmares and constant hypervigilance eased significantly. What stood out most was understanding why I was reacting the way I was and being able to recognize early when things were becoming too much. Now, I use this for maintenance to prevent me from going back to the old ways of handling things.”
