Why I Offer Private Pay Services

I choose to operate as a private pay provider so your care stays focused on you, not an insurance company.

Here’s what that means for you:

Your privacy stays protected

Insurance requires therapists to share diagnoses and, in some cases, treatment details. With private pay, your information stays between you and me. No third-party involvement.

No limitations on your care

Insurance often dictates how many sessions you can have and what types of treatment are “allowed.” Here, we decide together what support looks like and how long you receive it.

No pressure to label you

Insurance requires a mental health diagnosis early on. I don’t believe you need to be labeled to receive support. We focus on understanding what’s actually going on.

Support beyond diagnosis

Not everything requires a disorder to be valid. Stress, burnout, trauma, and life transitions deserve care too. Private pay allows us to work on what matters without forcing it into a diagnostic box.

Higher quality, personalized care

Without insurance restrictions, I’m able to offer more focused, individualized support instead of rushing through sessions.

Bottom line

This is a more intentional, personalized approach to care. If you’re looking for quick, insurance-driven treatment, I may not be the right fit. If you’re ready for deeper, focused work, you’re in the right place.
